NEWS
A successful writing week! I am so happy. For the last two months, I have not been happy with my stories. I have added a few to my binder, but nothing that I wrote was publishable. However, last week the dam burst and I wrote TREV RIDES FORTH and some grim dark that I’m happy with :D. So I’m chuffed that I’ve bounced back from my EARTH MOTHER slump.
As a result, whilst I really like THE BLACK WIDOW, I can’t wait to share TREV’s tale with you. It’s a heavy metal fever dream, a revenge fantasy that is pure 80s. It’ll be released next week. Here is a sneaky peak at the cover.

WHAT AM I WORKING ON NOW?
I am really enjoying my current story. Like BLADE OF THE BLOOD GOD, it’s set in a different world that my usual stories, not Earth, but reachable through the rifts.
I wrote 20k of space opera, but it’s not publishable. I don’t know what it is about space opera, I love reading it but just can’t seem to write it. One day, I’ll nail it. I’ve written over half a million words of horror, so have a lot more experience with it.
I’m still editing TALES OF THE MACABRE, VOL. 1. It horrified me to find some of the published stories within had the odd grammar mistake. Hopefully, we’ve got them all this time.
Huzzah! I resolved the issue with Amazon over the front cover of NESTOR LYNCH. I had to remove the blood, but now they are okay with it. Unfortunately, my cover, which was made by a very expensive, highly qualified cover artist, has now been neutered to look like two teenagers going for a lovely jog on the top of a zeppelin. I will put a note in the credits because I don’t want people to blame him. He is a legend.

The Nestor Lynch cover issue sucks, but I think it's still a compelling cover.
Was your 20k of space opera all one story?
