THE MORRÍGAN is released. A contemporary Celtic story of creeping horror. Other than the ending, it might be eligible for the category of cozy horror. Let me know what you think! A few reviews have filtered in already on GOODREADS.
I completed NaNoWriMo on the 30th! Just after I sent out last week’s newsletter, or I'd have mentioned it then.
A few dates for everyone
7th of December: THE MORRÍGAN is released in both eBook and paperback on Amazon.
18th January - A new FREE short story is released.
2023 is the Year of the Newt. Two compilations of Newton's Macabre Tales will be available as eBooks, Paperbacks and Hardbacks. My other pen name Newton R. Webb (so imaginative) is also releasing its debut novel, Nestor Lynch (a light techno thriller). In 2023, I am releasing 9 novellas, 12 free short stories, 2 compilations and 1 novel.
4th of January: THE BALLAD OF BARNACLE BILL is released in both eBook and paperback on Amazon. It's an 18th century tale of cosmic horror, featuring the occult, smugglers and the sea. I'm concerned that the name sounds a bit like a Hallmark romantic movie when it is one hundred percent pure horror. What do you think? It's a prequel to THE BLACK FOG.

So much editing, so much! November is so much fun because it is pure first drafts.
Beta reading CHARLES PERFIDIOUS CROSS's latest monstrosity, a 175k word beast composed of about 90% emdashes and the rest semicolons. I think he is confusing himself with James Joyce. It's the third and concluding part of his Crooked Empires trilogy (Parts one and two are: THE MAN-BUTCHER PRIZE and THE BUTCHER IN THE NIGHT).
