The Hollow
I really enjoyed this short story, set in Wales and imbued with druidic undertones. It quickly delivers a wonderful sense of hidden history with minimal exposition.
In a small town, something sinister lurks in the woods.

The Voice
A moralistic short story, with creeping horror and two fantastic main characters. It's a short read, perfect for commuting or a nocturnal bath. Reminiscent of DEVIL (2010)

Doctor Blessing's Rapture
After the delightful amuse-bouche of Dr Blessing’s Curse, the real meat comes along with Dr Blessing’s Rapture. Its book-length is somewhere between a novella and a novel.
A gothic tale that tells a haunting story about the dangers of addiction. Dr George Blessing starts with good intentions, then heads down a road leading to madness and despair.
The book introduces Mary, a hunter who has been moulded into a weapon at the cost of her independence.
As George struggles to maintain his sanity, Mary fights for her identity. The two collide in a magnificent twist.

Doctor Blessing's Curse
I must confess, I loved this short story so much that I immediately picked up books two and three in the Victorian Vampire Chronicles, and I’m almost through book three already.
Whilst this story is an independent tale, it is more of a prologue for Dr Blessing’s Rapture. It reads as a taster.
Featuring the main character for the trilogy, Dr George Blessing and his ever more horrified confidant.
